Discover: Connection and Transaction Issues

Incident Report for YNAB

Update

Our apologies! There was a formatting issue that caused a very important part of the last message not to show: If you are still having trouble, please remove your Discover connection and add it back again. Make sure you also re-link accounts back up with this new connection, and let us know if you are stilling having issues.

Monitoring

Our Direct Import provider has completed an update to a new API for Discover that should resolve the majority of issues. If you are still having trouble, be sure to remove your Discover connection and re-link it to any previously linked accounts. We’ll continue to monitor the situation for the next few days, but if you need more help, write to help@ynab.com!

Update

Good news! While we're continuing to treat this as an active incident for now, our import provider believes they've made some more headway towards resolving it. If you have not reset your Discover connection in the last 24 hours, please do so—it helps ensure we have more up-to-date data to analyze and may help you get reconnected more quickly. We'll share more updates here as soon as we have them!

Identified

Our import provider is aware of an issue causing Discover connections to fail or not import transactions. While they work on a resolution, please continue to use our other transaction entry methods to keep your accounts up to date.

Please Note! If any of your Discover accounts have already moved to Capital One, you will need to create a connection to Capital One moving forward—not Discover.
